Lab Express partnered with diaDexus to cohost a clinical presentation by Dr. Kenneth J. Colley on the PLAC® Test for Lp-PLA2 for members of the Las Vegas Medical Community on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Las Vegas Westin Casaurina Hotel.
The PLAC® Test is the only blood test cleared by the FDA that helps identify hidden risk factors for heart attack risk and stroke. Early detection and more aggressive treatment can help prevent heart attack and stroke.

About Dr. Kenneth J. Colley
Dr. Colley is an accomplished physician-scientist with over 18 years experience in medicine and the life sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices. Ken is currently Director of Medical Affairs for diaDexus Inc., a biotechnology company developing innovating clinical products for the cardiovascular field. He received his M.D. from Georgetown University, subsequently training Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, and also received his Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from Georgetown University. He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
